Job Title: General Practitioner

Pro Personnel is seeking a highly skilled General Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the delivery of exceptional medical services.

Key Responsibilities:Anesthesia Services:

• Administer Anesthesia: Provide anesthesia services for surgical procedures in accordance with established protocols and patient needs.
• Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure safety and appropriate recovery.
• Emergency Response: Manage anesthesia-related emergencies as they arise.

Emergency Department Cover (Optional):

• Daytime Cover: Provide daytime cover for the emergency department as needed.
• Urgent Care: Assess and manage urgent medical cases presenting to the hospital.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Clinical Excellence:

• High Standards: Uphold high standards of clinical practice and patient safety.
• Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records and procedural details.
• Professional Development: Participate in continuous professional development activities to stay updated with latest medical advancements.

Team Collaboration:

• Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Case Discussions: Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Medical Degree: Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Registration: Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a General Practitioner.
• Diploma in Anesthesia: Diploma in Anesthesia (or equivalent qualification) recognized by HPCSA.
• Experience: Proven experience in providing anesthesia services in a hospital setting, preferably in a private hospital environment.
• Emergency Department Experience: Experience or willingness to cover emergency department shifts is advantageous.
