Financial Manager Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Essential Health Pharmacy Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for performing a range of accounting functions, including full accounting, debtors and creditors reconciliation, and payroll calculations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with experience in financial management and a proven track record of delivering accurate and timely results. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full accounting function up to Trial Balance
- Debtors and Creditors reconciliation
- Upload of payments to Bank
- Cash book management and review
- Payroll calculations and processing
- Reconciliation of general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
- Statutory returns (EMP501/EMP201/VAT201) (preparation and submission)
- Rental calculations and monthly tenant billing
- Interaction with managers at branch level
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary education in accounting
- Solid verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans
- 2 years working experience
- Valid drivers licence and own transport
- Must reside in the Northern Suburbs
