**Salary Range:** R45,000 - R55,000 per month

The Legends Agency is a leading plastic injection moulding company committed to quality and innovation. We seek an experienced Maintenance and Engineering Technician/Manager with extensive knowledge in injection moulding to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities:*

  • We require an individual to perform and supervise mould repairs, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
  • The ideal candidate will conduct mechanical repairs and fitting of parts, including turning and milling operations.
  • Liaising with suppliers and technicians internationally for seamless operations is crucial.
  • Managing a team of 5 setters and 4 artisans, providing guidance and support is essential.
  • Mould design engagement and collaboration with suppliers and mould makers overseas is required.
  • Providing technical specifications and advice to support production processes is vital.
  • Travel to China for mould testing and quality assurance may be necessary.

**Qualifications and Experience:*

  • A trade test in a relevant field is mandatory.
  • Proven hands-on experience in Injection Moulding, with expertise in working with large moulds, is required.
  • Strong mechanical skills and experience with turning and milling operations are necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with suppliers and international technicians are crucial.
  • Experience in managing a team and overseeing complex projects is essential.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required is a must.

**Preferred Skills:*

  • Knowledge of the latest injection moulding technologies and practices is desired.
  • An ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are vital.
