Project Manager - Programme Management Office

To lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and control of all aspects of projects within the Programme Management Office. Collaborate closely with the Programme Manager to ensure that each project's scope and direction is on schedule, within budget, and adhering to quality standards agreed upon.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects within the programme.
  2. Ensure complete and accurate documentation of project artefacts and maintain living project artefacts.
  3. Track and report project deliverables, outcomes, and financials.
  4. Provide adequate Organizational Change Management and Communication support to projects, filling gaps where necessary.
  5. Identify stakeholders, develop stakeholder maps, define stakeholder interests, and plan and execute communication plans.
  6. Control and report project budgets as per agreed frequencies.
  7. Maintain the central repository with up-to-date project artefacts.
  8. Track and manage risks, issues, and change requests.
  9. Document project benefits during scoping and track throughout the project life cycle.
  10. Ensure operational readiness plans are in place and tracked for all projects.
  11. Manage interdependencies amongst projects.
  12. Achieve quality control standards and track quality throughout the project life cycle.
  13. Ensure all project governance requirements are met, with potential auditing and/or health checks at any time.
Requirements
  1. National Diploma in Project Management or Project Management Professional or equivalent Project Management Qualification.
  2. National Diploma ICT or Degree in ICT.
  3. 5 years of project management experience.
  4. 10 years of SDLC, information systems, and business experience required.
