We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stock Controller to join our team at General Heavy Marine (Pty) Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels, and maintaining a safe and secure storage environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels and monitoring inventory movements.
  • Verify and process incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that all goods are properly stored and labeled.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely ordering and receipt of inventory.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management systems and processes to improve stock control and reduce losses.
Requirements:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • At least 2 years of experience in stock controlling or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
