Faculty Head - Information Technology

CTU Career Chatz is a leading provider of Private Higher Education in South Africa, with a strong focus on innovation and quality. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Faculty Head to lead our Information Technology Faculty.

Job Summary

The Faculty Head will be responsible for driving academic excellence, managing faculty resources, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences. This is a key leadership role that requires strong strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire faculty members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement faculty strategies to achieve academic excellence and improve student outcomes
  • Manage faculty resources, including budgeting, staffing, and facilities
  • Lead and motivate faculty members to achieve their full potential
  • Collaborate with other faculty leaders to drive institutional goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional policies
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant Information Technology field
  • PhD degree preferred
  • Minimum of four years of relevant work experience at an Academic institution
  • Experience working with learning management system (LMS) platforms and Microsoft Dynamics
  • Relevant research and publications issued
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects and teams
