Job Title: Freight Estimator

At Boardroom Appointments, we are seeking a skilled Freight Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient freight estimates for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile load plans for road freight requests, ensuring timely completion and submission.
  • Conduct site visits to assess cargo weights and load plans, working closely with customers, vendors, and manufacturers.
  • Analyze and compute optimum load plans on trailers for project cargo, considering multi-modal disciplines.
  • Understand and adhere to requirements and limitations for the movement of abnormal cargo.

Requirements:

  • Matric qualification.
  • 7-10 years of experience in road freight estimates or operations.
  • Freight forwarding experience in estimates is essential.
  • Strong analytical and computational skills for load planning.
