About the Role:

As a Building Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our buildings, including managing service and maintenance contractors, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Technical or mechanical qualification at N4 level with approximately 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Skills in technical and mechanical areas, basic building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and PC literacy, including working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of lease conditions, house rules, housekeeping principles, Basic OHS, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, company policies and procedures, administration principles and reporting, statutory requirements, cost budgeting and control.
  • Competencies in customer focus, methodical approach, teamwork and co-operation, problem-solving and decision-making, communication, tolerance for stress, assertiveness, drive, and productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting and expense control.
  • Building management and administration.
  • Project management of revamps.
  • Upgrading in conjunction with Centre/Property Manager.
  • Managing service and maintenance contractors and liaising with management of contractors.
