We are seeking a highly experienced health economist and policy advisor to join our team as a Senior Technical Advisor for Health Economics & Financing. In this role, you will provide strategic leadership in the areas of revenue mobilization, pooling, purchasing, and benefit entitlement, while supporting MSH-led health financing projects and developing new business development proposals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and quantitative analysis skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. They will be responsible for representing MSH at industry conferences and workshops, and for building strong relationships with partner organizations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead health financing projects and activities in low-resource settings.
  • Provide technical assistance in the development, design, implementation, and evaluation of health finance policies and programs at the country level.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organizations.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Health Economics, Economics, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Advanced graduate degree and formal training in health financing, health economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience in leading health sector projects and activities in low-resource settings.
  • Significant experience in providing capacity-building training in LMICs.
