We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Director to join our team at South Cape Recruitment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. They will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations, including menu development, food preparation, and kitchen management.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Culinary Operations Management: Oversee the development and implementation of menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure high-quality dishes are served to our clients.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve excellent service standards, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and foster a positive team culture.
  • Innovation and Creativity: Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and innovations, and develop new menu ideas and concepts to stay ahead of the competition.

The successful candidate will be a natural leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be fluent in English and Afrikaans, and have a valid driver's license due to the location of the role.

We offer a competitive salary package, which includes an estimated annual salary of $65,000 - $75,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous base salary, we also offer benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for career advancement.
