Profile: WAREHOUSING - Inventory Cycle Counter M/F

Contract: Permanent

Location Job: Africa, South Africa, JOHANNESBURG - Full time

Responsibilities
  1. Verify inventory accuracy by ensuring quantities and locations match warehouse management system (WMS) records.
  2. Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure stock levels are up-to-date.
  3. Maintain optimal first pick availability by validating stock location and quantity on the system.
  4. Monitor stock movements throughout the facility to ensure accurate recording.
  5. Optimize stock placement for efficient picking and material flow.
  6. Perform regular ABC analysis to achieve high inventory accuracy.
  7. Report on inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts.
  8. Ensure stock counts meet company and customer requirements.
  9. Meet or exceed inventory accuracy targets and report discrepancies between customer systems and Materials Management WMS.
  10. Minimize inventory losses and associated liabilities.
  11. Investigate and resolve claims related to inventory discrepancies.
  12. Supervise reports on picking differences.
