Façade Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Façade Designer to join our team and support the Facade division. The successful candidate will work closely with our specialist disciplines to deliver complex design and construction projects, covering all aspects of façade design.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating technical engineering solutions and a willingness to work across multiple large-scale projects. • Delivery and execution of projects to a high level of quality within project deadlines
• Developing system drawings and specifications with supervision
• Proven competence and technical expertise in façade design
• Preparation of RIBA stage reports during project design
• Developing BMU strategies during the project design
• Guiding junior team members within the project team
• Assisting in preparing proposals and quotations for new opportunities
• Seek opportunities for repeat work and extension of work scope on projects

• BSc or MSc in Architecture or similar
• A minimum of 2 years of façade design and engineering experience
• Proven depth of knowledge in façade design
• Be able to work successfully in a collaborative team-oriented environment
• Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Be able to independently represent AESG
• Understand AESG's liabilities and interests of various stakeholders within the project
• Be able to participate in the general business development and cultivate new and existing client contacts
