Job Description

Job Title: Senior UI Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI Designer to join our team at Staff Solutions Recruitment. As a Senior UI Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly designs that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User Experience (UX) Design:
    • Conduct user research to gather insights about user needs and behaviors.
    • Develop user personas and journey maps to inform design decisions.
    • Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts and user flows.
    • Organize and structure content to enhance usability and findability.
  • User Interface (UI) Design:
    • Develop visually appealing designs that align with our brand guidelines and enhance user interaction.
    • Create layouts that work seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes.
    • Contribute to or develop design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and meet business goals.
    • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and stakeholder input.
  • Testing & Analysis:
    • Conduct usability tests to identify pain points and validate design solutions.
    • Analyze user engagement and experience metrics to inform ongoing design improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years proven experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a digital product environment.
  • Tools: Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing design projects and thought processes.

Skills:

  • User-Centered Design: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Visual Design Skills: Strong aesthetic sense with attention to detail in typography, color, and layout.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify problems and create effective design solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting ideas and concepts clearly.
