Job Title: Financial Administrator

Job Summary:

As a Financial Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, managing customer accounts, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately capturing and processing customer invoices
  • Creating quotations and reconciliations for customers
  • Reconciling customer accounts and communicating with customers
  • Providing customer service and support
  • Reconciling captured information against received information
  • Creating customer accounts and ensuring accurate information loading
  • Assisting with debit orders and commission calculations
  • Providing proof of payments and assisting with debt collection

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance unit performing debtors/accounts receivable duties
  • Previous experience with Pastel Partner and/or Pastel Evolution
  • Telecommunications experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Planning and time management ability
  • Coping under pressure
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Sound accounting knowledge
  • Professionalism and adaptability
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team

Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping and/or short bookkeeping courses
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
