Job Overview

We are seeking a Manager of Human Capital Development to join our team and drive data-driven decision making within the Western Cape Government.

As a key member of our workforce planning team, you will be responsible for leveraging advanced data analytics to optimize people management and organizational performance.

You will lead strategic advisory and stakeholder engagement by aligning data insights with organisational goals and driving data-driven decision making.

Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining data pipelines, applying people analytics and workforce insights to identify trends and generate actionable insights on performance, engagement and retention.

You will also manage reporting, visualisation and dashboard development and provide people management, project leadership and operational oversight.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of people analytics and workforce management, as well as data management and governance principles.

A valid code B driver's license is required, however people with disabilities that restrict driving abilities may also apply.

Requirements

  • An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems or Business Administration
  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience particularly in people analytics or data analysis roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position involving project management, team mentorship or decision-making
  • Honours Degree and a valid code B driver's license
