About the Role

This Solar Energy Solutions Specialist position requires a strong background in electrical engineering and project management. The ideal candidate will have experience working on solar power systems, BESS solutions, and electrical infrastructure projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and engineering: Conduct load flow analysis, electrical modelling, and performance simulations for solar and storage systems.
  • Project management: Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of projects.
  • System integration and testing: Oversee system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical design and project management, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards, including local South African standards (SANS) and international standards.
