Job Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to support the HR Manager in delivering the HR strategy, scorecard targets, goals, and project initiatives, contributing to business success.

Key Performance Areas
  1. Manage end-to-end people processes for talent, performance management, EWP, EE, and IR, ensuring consistency across the business.
  2. Coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including management, employees, and the union.
  3. Ensure efficient, timeous, and accurate HR and payroll administration, resolving queries promptly.
  4. Compile, generate, analyze, and report HR statistics for the division, informing decision-making and meeting legislative requirements.
  5. Support the HR Manager with business project implementation, providing data gathering, analysis, process improvement, and administration expertise.
  6. Resolve death claims, disability, and retirement processes and administration in a timely manner.
  7. Provide coaching, support, and advice on people-related issues to management and employees.
  8. Maintain close corporate relationships with employees at all levels, addressing people-related issues proactively.
  9. Identify non-performers, develop personal development plans, and monitor progress with management.
  10. Verify warnings and monitor improvement of undesirable behavior and misconduct.
  11. Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and audits when required, and climate monitoring during branch visits or interactions.
  12. Minimize staff turnover and retain good performers by monitoring exit interviews and tracking received by HRA.
