Project Coordinator Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator Specialist to join our team at ACB Consulting. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing warehousing and/or transportation solutions, managing stakeholder expectations throughout the project implementation phase, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
About the Role
The Project Coordinator Specialist will play a critical role in supporting company objectives by identifying, analyzing, and implementing strategic projects. This includes collaborating with EXCO, Operations teams, clients, contractors, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
Main Responsibilities
- Implementing warehousing and/or transportation solutions while managing stakeholder expectations
- Collaborating with EXCO, Operations teams, clients, contractors, and other internal and external stakeholders
- Ensuring successful project outcomes through effective project management
- Developing feasible plans that achieve project goals and objectives
- Scheduling and facilitating regular meetings to obtain status updates and chart progress
- Reallocating resources to balance workloads and evaluate team member competencies and capabilities
- Maintaining accurate records of project progress, costs, and risks
- Coordinating project communications, including reporting and documentation
- Managing stakeholder expectations and ensuring change management is integrated into project planning
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines
- Proven track record of delivering successful projects on time, within budget, and to scope
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Visio)
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and advanced quality planning (AQP) concepts
- Ability to travel around South Africa as required
- Unendorsed license and own transport
What We Offer
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary range of R850,000 - R1,100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits such as a comprehensive health insurance plan, retirement fund contributions, and generous leave entitlements.
