About the Position
We are seeking a Team Lead - Environmental Planning and Advisory to lead our EPA team in Africa. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in environmental planning and advisory, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects and leading teams. They will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies, managing client relationships, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and improve project delivery.
  • Manage and develop key client relationships, participating in marketing and business development activities, and developing proposals.
  • Responsible for financial performance for the EPA team (RSA, Moz, Ghana) and reaching financial targets for EPA Africa.

Requirements:
  • An Honours or higher degree in a relevant environmental discipline.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience, preferably in an environmental consulting firm.
  • 15 years or more experience as an environmental and/or social specialist leading and delivering local and international (Africa) ESIA and/or ESDD consulting assignments.
  • EAPASA Registration is required or evidence of application in process.
  • Strong technical report writing skills, producing professional reports in fluent English.
  • Significant commercial acumen and ability to engage in client-facing business development.
