Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automotive Sales Development Specialist to join our team at Staff Unlimited Recruitment Pty Ltd T/A MPC Recruitment Group EC. This role will be based in an attractive location.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a motivated and experienced sales professional to develop and execute sales strategies, drive business growth, and establish strong relationships with customers in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand existing markets and attract new customers;
  • Work closely with the head of sales to analyze customer requirements and develop solution concepts;
  • Conduct technical presentations to internal and external customers to showcase products and services;
  • Negotiate price and contract issues with customers to secure orders;
  • Provide technical support to sales teams and customers to ensure successful project outcomes;
  • Support the entire sales cycle by addressing technical and commercial queries from interested parties;
  • Identify new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector, focusing on automotive, metal processing, equipment, and plant engineering.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years' experience in technical sales;
  • Ability to understand customer specifications and requirements;
  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal communication, and documentation skills;
  • Goal-driven and customer-oriented thinking;
  • High degree of computer literacy in MS Office, MS Projects;
  • Ability to plan, manage, implement, validate, and produce timing plans for project work;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to engage with all levels of the organization, customers, and suppliers;
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work as an individual and part of a team;
  • A strong understanding of the importance of meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary Information:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. The figure provided is based on data related to similar roles in the industry.
