Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FTTH Site Supervisor to join our team at FACT. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, conducting regular inspections, and devising and implementing site procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management of Day-to-Day Operations: Manage the day-to-day delivery of projects within a geographical area, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards and that deadlines are met.
  • Safety and Quality: Drive a culture of safety and quality across the field operations, ensuring that all staff are aware of and adhere to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Investigation and Corrective Action: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and take corrective action where necessary to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Staff Management: Manage staff, oversee work schedules, and assign specific duties to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Client Service: Deliver high-quality service to clients, ensuring that performance standards and contractual KPIs are met.
  • Reporting and Communication: Communicate closely with the project manager and provide timely and accurate reports on project progress and performance.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience in the telecommunications industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing teams and delivering projects.
  • Qualifications: FTTH Optic Fibre experience, with a strong understanding of network infrastructure and operations.
  • Skills: Excellent literacy, numeric, and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage field teams.
