Forensic Investigator

To deliver on projects through the provision of quality forensic investigation services during national, provincial and strategic investigations into maladministration and corruption within State institutions, in support of the multi-disciplinary approach (MDA) to all projects / assignments, thereby contributing to the success of ATripleA Recruitment and Temps.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in Remedial Action Proceedings to ensure effective resolution of maladministration and corruption cases.
• Ensure Forensic Investigation Area Compliance with relevant laws, rules, and legal precedents, thereby maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
• Develop the Forensic Investigation Area by implementing best practices, improving investigation techniques, and enhancing the skills of team members.
• Manage and provide coaching and mentoring to subordinates to transfer skills and specialized knowledge, promoting career growth and development within the organization.
• Foster Stakeholder Management and Business Development by building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other relevant parties, thereby driving business growth and success.
Minimum Qualification and Experience:
• Hold a LLB or B Honours in Accounting or Forensic Accounting or equivalent (NQF 8) and be a member of a professional body, demonstrating a strong commitment to professional development and ethics.
• Possess six to eight years of experience in forensic investigations, with four years at a management level, showcasing exceptional leadership and management skills.
• Have experience in public sector investigations, with a thorough understanding of the laws, rules, and legal precedents pertaining to evidence, searching of premises, and the technical aspects of conducting interviews.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the investigation environment and forensic investigation principles, as well as the applicable legislation (e.g. Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law of Evidence, etc.).
• Showcase in-depth knowledge of investigation techniques, including the ability to testify as an expert witness, and possess a strong understanding of public sector legal environment (PFMA, MFMA, Treasury Regulations and other relevant Treasury Directives).
