Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Health Screening Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, visitors, and contractors by conducting thorough health screenings. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  1. Conducting health screenings on all visitors, contractors, and employees.
  2. Recording and reporting health screening results to the Branch Manager.
  3. Ensuring compliance with all designated safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:
Matric (NQF level 4), Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or Nursing and Paramedic, and 1-3 years' experience in a Medical healthcare/office/facility and clinical environment.

Working Conditions:
Able to commit five days a week, working hours Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:45, Friday 08:00 to 15:30.

Additional Requirements:
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required, and reliable transportation.

Key Competencies:
Communication, analytical, problem-solving & decision-making, planning & organising, monitoring & evaluation, performance driven, team work, adaptability & flexibility, policy adherence, negotiation, and basic computer skills.
