Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Midrand, South Africa. As a Principal Software Architect, you will play a key role in designing and developing scalable software systems that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Write reusable, testable, and efficient code using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
  • Research and Innovation: Research new technologies to improve our products and stay ahead of the competition.
  • API Development: Create RESTful APIs to integrate with our data storage solutions.
  • Data Storage Solutions: Integrate databases, key-value stores, and blob stores to ensure seamless data management.
  • Front-end Integration: Assist the UI team in building and integrating front-end elements into their applications.
  • Technical Documentation: Write technical specification documentation, including API specs, design specs, and release notes.
  • Collaboration and Problem-solving: Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality results and meet client expectations.
Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in IT.
  • 2-4 years of experience in software development.
  • A good understanding of UML modeling and microservices architecture.
  • Proficient knowledge of Spring Boot, JavaScript/Typescript, and GIT.
  • Familiarity with managing cloud infrastructure - AWS, GCP, Azure.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Minicube, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of up to R480k per annum, making it an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to grow their careers.
