Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Senior Electrical Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity to work within AESG's award-winning Sustainable Engineering Department.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability and a willingness to work across multiple disciplines and industries to drive the market towards more sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring that they meet sustainable and digitalisation requirements.
  • Act as key point of contact for clients as an MEP lead engineer with responsibility for technical and commercial delivery of projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Develop in-house systems and workflows with a strong focus on automated design via Dynamo, Python or similar.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Utilise Revit software to create and manage electrical engineering models and drawings.
  • Stay current on industry trends and developments related to sustainable electrical engineering and digitalisation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with further post-graduate education desirable (e.g., Masters degree), along with demonstrated work experience within the field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on sustainability and digitalisation.
  • Experience delivering LEED-certified or other building certification projects and have an excellent understanding of building systems performance.
  • Professional qualification and work experience with development, and/or implementation of Sustainability Rating Systems such as USGBC LEED, Mostadam, Passive House or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading a sustainability program, policies and regulatory frameworks.
