Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist

Mukuru seeks a dynamic Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Cape Town or Johannesburg. This role is responsible for end-to-end recruitment across multiple disciplines, locations, and levels.
The ideal candidate will provide strategic talent acquisition support, coach hiring managers, and ensure compliance with employment legislation and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) plans. The Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in attracting top talent for Mukuru by managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
Key Responsibilities:- Talent Acquisition & Management: Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies. Ensure compliance with labor legislation, company policies, and DEI objectives. Utilize various sourcing methods to attract top talent and maintain accurate recruitment records.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Coaching: Advise and coach hiring managers on recruitment best practices, interview techniques, and compliance. Provide continuous support and feedback to ensure an effective selection process.
- Process Improvement & Analytics: Continuously evaluate and enhance recruitment processes to improve efficiency and candidate experience. Prepare and maintain talent dashboards to track recruitment KPIs and leverage data insights to refine hiring strategies and decision-making.
- Team Development & Supervision: Mentor and guide intern recruiters, providing training and constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Market Research & Talent Mapping: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor hiring activities, and talent availability. Develop and maintain talent pools and pipelines for critical roles.
