About the Role

Tracker South Africa is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Applications Technical Lead to join our Application Support team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to the Application Support team, ensuring all applications used in the delivery of Tracker's business are supported and maintained. They will also work closely with the Development Support Team to resolve incidents and implement changes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ITIL processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Application Support team.
  • Schedule and lead meetings with the Development Support Team to discuss incident resolution and change implementation.
  • Work closely with the Development Support Team to resolve incidents and implement changes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on system configuration and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
