Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Luxury Jewelry Sales Associate to join our team on board one of our luxury cruise ships. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, meeting and exceeding sales targets, and maintaining a visually appealing jewelry display.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while traveling to various destinations around the world. You will be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as live on the ship for the duration of your 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and assist them in finding the perfect jewelry piece to meet their needs
  • Provide exceptional customer service by building relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Educate customers on the quality and uniqueness of our jewelry collection
  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels and displays to ensure a visually appealing shopping experience
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Meet and exceed sales goals and targets
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge to provide customers with the best shopping experience
  • Assist in merchandising and restocking of jewelry displays
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve overall sales objectives
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the jewelry industry
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of jewelry and gemstones is an asset
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be able to travel and work on a cruise ship for 6 months at a time

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, plus attractive commission and bonus structure based on sales performance. Other benefits include:
