At HR Genie, we are seeking an experienced Control Systems Specialist to lead our project teams and ensure the timely completion of projects.


Job Description
  • Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year (dependent on experience)

As a Control Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for defining process flowcharts, setting up control system configurations, and applying advanced control techniques to production processes. You will also program, test, and commission facilities within allocated project constraints.


Your key responsibilities will include:


Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Defining Process Flowcharts: Develop detailed process flowcharts and sequence of operation for required facilities
  • Control System Configuration: Establish most effective control system configuration to achieve required specification
  • Advanced Control Techniques: Apply advanced control techniques to production processes
  • Programming and Testing: Program, test, and commission facilities within allocated project constraints
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing installations

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in PLC programming, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Experience with interfacing SCADA, motion control, robotic, and measuring systems to PLC applications
  • Proficiency in computer and PLC system configuration
  • Ability to create and read logic and flow diagrams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work logically and systematically
  • Practical understanding of facility commissioning requirements and exposure in a projects environment
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills
