Job Overview

At HR Genie, we are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the design and implementation of special purpose machines control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical design, pneumatic design, panel layout, specification, calculation, and rating of all control hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate system requirements and develop electrical control systems designs that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Design and implement pneumatic systems, including pipe routing and cable allocation.
  • Create detailed electrical and pneumatic drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with mechanical design teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components.
  • Conduct safety assessments and risk analyses to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to electrical assembly staff to ensure high-quality build.
  • Participate in design review meetings with internal teams and customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical control systems design and implementation.
  • Extensive knowledge of Eplan software and MS Office.
  • Familiarity with fluid draw packages (e.g., Fluid Draw) and other pneumatic design tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with electrical control hardware, including power supplies, PLCs, sensors, actuators, I/O devices, printers, scanners, IPCs, valves, cables, motor drive systems, plugs bus systems, and hardware.
