About the Role

The Senior Information Systems Auditor will be responsible for conducting effective audits in accordance with PFMA and MFMA timelines, ISA standards, and AGSA policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting Audits: Conduct thorough audits in terms of the three audit phases: planning, execution, and audit conclusion.
  • Planning Audits: Plan audits by participating in defining objectives, scope, and assessing risks from source documentation.
  • Executing Tests: Conduct tests to determine compliance to policies, procedures, standards, and specifications, as well as efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Auditing, Computer Science, or Informatics.
  • In-depth knowledge of auditing, informatics, and emerging technologies.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in information systems auditing.
  • Experience in cyber security environment is beneficial.
