**Job Description:**

Audit Excellence in the Public Sector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Auditor to join our team at the Auditor-General of South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting audits in accordance with PFMA and MFMA timelines, ISA standards, and AGSA policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute audits in terms of the three audit phases: Planning, Execution, and Audit Conclusion.
  • Conduct field work in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Generate audit findings and submit them to Line Manager for input and review.
  • Communicate progress or obstacles during the audit to Line Manager and Senior Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Auditing, Computer Science, or Informatics.
  • In-depth knowledge of Auditing and Informatics.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Systems Auditing.
  • Experience on ERP environments (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft) and CAATs/Data analytics is an added advantage.
