**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and guidance to our clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- **Tax Planning and Compliance:** Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- **Tax Advisory Services:** Provide expert tax advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of taxation, including corporate tax, individual tax, and indirect tax.
- **Tax Audits and Investigations:** Manage and coordinate tax audits and investigations, ensuring that all necessary documentation and information is provided to tax authorities.
- **Tax Policy and Procedure Development:** Develop and implement tax policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- **Tax Training and Development:** Provide training and development opportunities to junior tax staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- **Experience:** 5 years of experience in a tax role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior tax position.
- **Qualifications:** Postgraduate Honours Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting, Tax Chartered Accountant (Preferred), Registered tax practitioner/professional tax certification - Preferred, VAT Certification.
- **Skills:** Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, ability to adapt to changing regulations and business environments.
