Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Audio Visual Support Technician to join our team at ATripleA Recruitment and Temps. As a UC Programmer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our clients' audio visual systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to calls logged by clients, providing remote and on-site support for audio visual systems.
  • System Maintenance: Schedule and complete preventative maintenance tasks, including compiling full maintenance reports.
  • Advanced Fault-Finding: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with audio visual systems.
  • Wiring and Cable Termination: Ensure compliance with best practices for wiring and cable termination.
  • Video Conferencing and Audio-Visual Equipment Configuration: Configure and maintain video conferencing and audio visual equipment.
  • Pre-Site Preparation: Prepare thoroughly before attending to a site, ensuring all necessary equipment and documentation are available.
  • Liaising with Suppliers and Senior Staff: Collaborate with suppliers and senior staff to resolve technical issues and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Installation and Programming: Install and program Crestron and Extron control systems for boardroom installations.
  • Training and Development: Complete training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • On-Site Technician: Assist as an On-Site Technician when needed at certain customers.
Key Requirements
  • Matric Essential
  • Audio Visual Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in audio visual systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of audio visual systems, including Crestron and Extron programming.
  • Basic Room Control Experience
  • Audio Experience: Experience with audio systems, including basic DSP programming.
  • Video Routing and Switching Experience
  • Video Conferencing Endpoint Experience: Experience with video conferencing endpoints, including Polycom and Avaya.
  • Proof of Technical Skills
  • Valid Driver's License and Own Vehicle
