Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team at Headhunters. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial tasks, including financial statement preparation, tax planning, and auditing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Tax Planning: Provide tax planning advice to clients and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Auditing: Conduct audits of financial statements and identify areas for improvement.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide advice and guidance.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Relevant experience or BCom Degree with Accounting III, Auditing and Taxation or similar qualification.
  • Experience: Completed 3-year articles or relevant experience.
  • Skills: Up to date knowledge in the areas of accounting and taxation, Pastel Accounting, Pastel Payroll, Microsoft office - Excel and Word, Windows, Accfin Software, Audit mate.
