Job Overview

The Electromagnetics Solution Validation Professional will be responsible for verifying the correctness and usability of Altair HyperWorks electromagnetics solutions. This role involves collaborating with development teams and the Quality Assurance Center of Excellence to identify, prioritize, and communicate applicability of functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and prepare realistic use cases for solution verification in collaboration with technical support and program management staff.
  • Verify functional areas of Altair electromagnetics solutions during the development process, to identify, prioritize and communicate applicability.
  • Validate outcomes of new implementations in collaboration with the Altair Quality Assurance Center of Excellence.
  • Assist the Program Management teams in preparing specifications and documenting solutions.

Requirements

This role requires a strong background in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, completed coursework in Electromagnetics/high-frequency techniques, and experience in practical electromagnetics applications and simulation. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, fluency in English, and ability to work with little supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with scripting languages such as Python.
  • Experience with Feko.
  • Higher degree (Masters or Ph.D) with a strong focus in Electromagnetics.
  • Interest in technical software usability and development.
