About This Role

This position is responsible for verifying electromagnetics solutions implemented in our Altair HyperWorks software to ensure correctness, user-friendliness, and performance. You will work closely with the development team and Quality Assurance Center of Excellence to identify and prioritize areas for improvement.

Evaluation and Validation

  • Gather realistic use cases for solution verification in collaboration with technical support and program management staff.
  • Verify functional areas of Altair electromagnetics solutions during the development process to identify applicability.
  • Validate outcomes of new implementations in collaboration with the Altair Quality Assurance Center of Excellence.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Completed coursework in Electromagnetics/high-frequency techniques.
  • Experience in practical electromagnetics applications and simulation.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and be a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge and experience with a scripting language such as Python.
  • Experience with Feko.
  • Higher degree (Masters or Ph.D) with a strong focus in Electromagnetics.
  • An interest in technical software usability and development.

  • $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
