About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our Platform Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with Product Engineering, Infrastructure/Operations, Cloud Engineers, Application Support, and Client Services to deliver deployment strategies and develop automated tools.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and deploy solutions in Azure cloud infrastructure.
  2. Collaborate within an Agile team to deliver projects on time.
  3. Integrate DevOps principles to improve product delivery.
  4. Automate and configure tasks to streamline deployment.
  5. Monitor and maintain continuous delivery tools.

About You

  • Strong experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and Azure DevOps.
  • Proven track record of deploying resources in a structured, Agile environment.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, especially with non-technical co-workers.
  • Skilled in designing, building, and managing scalable, secure, and available SaaS platforms.
  • Proactive in learning and introducing new technologies.
  • Able to anticipate and address platform issues effectively.
  • Disciplined in focusing on important objectives and industry best practices.

Technical Skills/Experience

  • Knowledge in leading Cloud Platform (preferably Microsoft Azure).
  • Knowledge in CI/CD tools (preferably Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of Containerization concepts.
  • Experience in scripting in any language (preferably PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Knowledge administering Linux or Windows Operating Systems.
  • Advantageous – knowledge or experience in Kubernetes.
  • Advantageous – latest Microsoft Azure certifications.

  • Communicative and social – must be able to communicate well within his/her own teams and the broader Technology teams through verbal and written skills.
  • Self-Motivated - demonstrable self-motivation to learn new skills and technologies, grasp new concepts with a drive to take on personal responsibility.
