Key Responsibilities
  • This role involves direct employee supervision and contractor guidance on environmental requirements, such as pollution control, waste reduction, and best environmental management practices.
  • Developing and maintaining an environmental management system based on the operations' approved Environmental Management Programme is a key requirement.
  • Ensuring accurate submission/reporting of various Environment reports to statutory/regulatory bodies, as required, is another critical aspect of this position.
  • Managing Waste Collection on site and maintaining records of waste disposal certificates are essential responsibilities.
  • We require an individual with strong presentation and facilitation skills to create environmental awareness amongst employees through toolbox talks, etc.
  • A high level of computer literacy, particularly with MS Office and MS Excel, is also necessary for success in this role.
