A Clinical Educator in the field of Wound Care is sought after by Emporium Human Capital to educate and train healthcare professionals on best practices in wound management. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering education programs to diverse groups of internal and external customers and end users. This includes training physicians, clinicians, and nurses on procedures, protocols, and product use. Additionally, the educator will provide clinical and operational support in the delivery of patient care in a hospital setting or clinical environment. They will also assist with front office operations including billing, invoicing, scheduling, tracking of procedures, reporting, and funder approvals.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in nursing and be registered as a nurse. A preferred WHASA or recognized wound management certificate is also desirable. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting working with patients and/or end users. Previous medical industry experience is an asset, as well as domestic travel requirements. A valid driver's license and own vehicle are necessary for this position.
