**Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices** has an immediate opening for a **Clinical Sales Educator **role within Commercial Education in **South Africa.**

**Overall Purpose of this Job**:
The Clinical Sales Educator is tasked with delivering best-in-class product & procedure training across South Africa for the Ethicon franchise. Building both confidence and competence through practice to drive behavior change both for new hires and existing personnel to unleash the potential of the Ethicon organization.

**The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have**:
**The Key responsibilities are**:

- Evaluating industry leading best practices for commercial education development and employ learning principles and strategies.
- Leverage knowledge of the Ethicon product portfolio, clinical acumen and selling skills to ensure the alignment of learning solutions with stakeholder needs.
- Defining parameters for planning, deploying, and measuring commercial education to achieve greater leverage, scale, and impact in Ethicon, aligned with One MD core values.
- Collaborate with Peers, Sales Leadership, Franchise Leadership, Marketing, Regulatory, Medical, and other stakeholders to deploy targeted training programs that reduce knowledge gaps and enhance overall field effectiveness.
- Providing blueprint for Commercial Education with key components, i.e., programs, processes, and tools, to ensure continuum of talent development.
- Responsible for the EMEA forecast and reporting process for EMEA courses.
- Demonstrate a passion for learning and serve as a leader within the team to ensure overall team effectiveness.
- Adhere to all Regulatory/Legal and HCC guidelines.

**Learning Solutions and Facilitation**:

- Identify strategic needs and incorporate adult learning principles into the execution of effective blended learning solutions for the Ethicon organization that address critical business needs.
- Assess the ongoing training needs of customer facing field teams by performing analysis on current and historical Ethicon training activities, and enterprise engagement.
- Leverage diverse learning technologies and identify innovative new technologies to create user focused, efficient, and effective learning experiences that drive business outcomes.
- Prepares and leads learning sessions to increase the Field Teams’ understanding of clinical, product, marketplace, and access knowledge as well as healthcare ecosystem and competitor trends.
- Implements training metrics to monitor training effectiveness against needs of the business.
- Summarizes training program assessment data and participant attendance reports and submits or presents to management.
- Ensures all content and materials comply with Copy Approval and Company guidelines and is approved through all appropriate channels.
- Identifies and communicates learning and development opportunities to initiate innovative approaches to the training curriculum.
- Demonstrate effective platform skills when facilitating meetings or delivering training to maximize the impact of the session and ensure that information is communicated consistently and clearly.

**Project Management, Collaboration and Partnering**:

- Manage projects accounting for timelines, compliance constraints, business needs, budget, and available resources.
- Develops and implements short
- and long-term project plans to meet objectives, milestones, and deliverables for multiple projects.
- Lead collaboration across sales, marketing, medical and commercial partners to ensure to optimize resources and reduce costs, where appropriate.
- Leverage knowledge of business objectives, strategies, and operational procedures to effectively meet business and learning goals.
- Identifies and manages the necessary resources for training.
- Consults with management, employees, and departments to identify training needs, address them, and achieve a result of effective training solutions.
- Builds relationships throughout multiple stakeholder channels to gain support for preferred approaches and strategies.
- Must be able to identify and assess risk and prioritize competing demands for time, based on importance, need, and impact.

**Clinical & Marketplace Expertise**:

- Remains current on Ethicon product knowledge, marketplace conditions, and stakeholder practices to deliver the most effective delivery of materials.
- Understands and adapts to the changing healthcare ecosystem and adjusts learning solutions accordingly.
- Develops clinical fluency in all assigned disease states to equip learners to engage stakeholders in meaningful, results-driven conversations.

**Qualifications**
