About the Role

IGrow Wealth Investments, a leading property investment company, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join their team in Cape Town.

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A professional accounting certification, such as SAICA or AGA(SA), with a minimum of 1 year of post-article experience in a management or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, including Caseware, Xero, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in managing a team and client engagements, with excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans, with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Compiling annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS for SMEs.
  • Processing accounting transactions up to trial balance.
  • Supervising and guiding a team of SAIPA Trainees.
  • Reviewing work performed by Trainees, including accounting processing, annual financial statements, income tax returns, and VAT submissions.
  • Managing client portfolios and maintaining sound client relationships.
  • Providing guidance to investors on implementing trusts and corporate structures to optimize tax benefits and wealth creation.
  • Leading team meetings and training sessions, as required.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
