**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, including mentoring and coaching
* Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions
* Conduct clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement
* Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and stakeholders

**Requirements:**

* National Diploma in Nursing or related discipline
* Registered Nurse with current SANC registration
* Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience
* Minimum of 2 years Private Hospital work experience
* ICU experience and Ventilator trained essential
* Intermediate computer skills, including all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Email)
* Driver's license and own transport essential
* Comprehensive clinical nursing experience and clinical credibility
* Capacity to plan and organise schedules and to maintain standards in work team, monitoring conduct and performance
* Developing and maintaining sound relationships with the clients
* Engaging with Nurse Managers and Unit Managers, to identify staff training requirements and assist with proactive solutions
* Attending appropriate meetings at the clinical interface, monitoring trends and record keeping
* Assisting with the upkeep of the data base
* Ongoing personal development ensuring that knowledge and skills are current to the clinical environment
* Experience in performance management and the disciplinary process and understanding of Basic Conditions of Employment Act
