Job Description:
As the Assistant Website Warehouse Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage the accurate and efficient dispatching of all website orders. This includes managing employees in your department as well as handling all customer service queries related to the delivery process. This is on a 6-day work week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance and Efficiency: Manage the compliance of existing processes in the warehouse by ensuring correct dispatch procedures are followed, planning deliveries when needed, and efficiently documenting picking slips, delivery notes, waybills, and managing relations with third-party logistics partners.
  • Process Review and Improvement: Continually review available processes and data to ensure maximum efficiency. Extra planning and focus are given to peak periods, aligning transport requirements with the order.
  • Customer Service: Provide high-level customer service.
  • Quality Control and Accuracy: Manage quality control and accuracy of orders by accurately comparing the invoice to physical stock, ensuring the correct orders are picked timeously, and conducting quality control of stock handling.
  • Employee Management: Manage employees in your department, including recruiting new staff when needed, attendance and timekeeping, disciplinary actions, and performance reviews.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Relevant diploma/degree in logistics and/or operations is preferred
  • 3+ years retail/logistics experience
  • Warehouse Management System experience
  • Computer Literate – Word, Excel, Outlook & Google Sheets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
