Job Title: Regional Operations Development Specialist

E2E Staffing (PTY) LTD is seeking a Regional Operations Development Specialist to ensure a competent team and support continuous training and skills development in the operations and maintenance teams in the area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, review, update, and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the plants.
  • Develop and manage training matrices.
  • Give supervisors PTO matrices and planning.
  • Organize, support, and facilitate appropriate training.
  • Manage, document, and execute planned training observations (PTOs).
  • Identify gaps in team competence and assist in identifying and organizing training to close the gaps.
  • Site-specific training for new team members.
  • Develop training programs for onboarding new staff.
  • Develop material for technical training for current and new staff.
  • Develop training systems to ensure continuous growth and development for the team.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with an appropriate engineering or science major is preferred.
  • Chemical engineering diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Three years of relevant experience in an engineering environment.
  • Three years of relevant experience in the water treatment industry is preferred.
  • Preferably experience working with the following water treatment technologies: Reverse Osmosis (RO), ultra-filtration (UF), softening.
  • Experience in management/supervision is an advantage.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Technical foundation.
  • Theory understanding of water treatment (UF, RO, softening).
  • Administrative skills to maintain systems and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain pertinent records.
  • Strong drive and understanding for systems.
  • Basic computer literacy skills.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in written form.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contracted in the course of work.
  • Basic understanding of OHS Act and its application.

Additional Requirements:

  • Medically fit in line with client requirements to work in a treatment plant environment with exposure to various hazardous materials.
