Job Title: Director of Skills Development

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as Director of Skills Development at CTU Career Chatz. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learnership and skills development programs within our institution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Develop comprehensive class schedules for learnership programs in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely program delivery and high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Assessment and Moderation: Establish assessment processes aligned with program objectives and ensure their accuracy and consistency, providing guidance on assessment practices and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Learnership Implementation: Oversee the implementation of learnership programs according to regulatory and academic requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and provide guidance to program staff, including facilitators and administrative personnel, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
  • Quality Assurance: Generate and compile quality assurance reports as required, analyzing data and identifying areas for improvement, presenting findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: A minimum requirement is a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with international certification being an advantage.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience directly related to the Assessment and Moderation duties and responsibilities in a Higher Education Institution, with experience working with learning management system (LMS) platforms preferred.
  • Skills and Qualities: Expertise in assessment, data analysis, and educational outcomes, excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated effective organizational skills, ability to synthesize and analyze quantitative and qualitative data, knowledge of national and specialized postschool accreditation standards, practices, and goals.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 and $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include a competitive salary package, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a dynamic work environment.
