Job Title: Cleaner

Job Summary:

SA Metal is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Gauteng Central Services. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in our office and premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping surfaces in assigned areas, including bathrooms and kitchens
  • Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies, such as hand wash, toilet paper, and paper towels
  • Washing dishes, kitchen napkins, floor rags, and dusters
  • Maintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessary
  • Taking out the garbage and disposing of it in designated areas
  • Cleaning refrigerators, microwaves, kettles, water coolers, and all kitchen equipment
  • Assisting with ad-hoc duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Matric or equivalent qualification
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of acceptable cleaning practices
  • Knowledge of standard cleaning chemicals
  • Basic knowledge of general hygiene practices
