We are seeking a highly skilled Debt Recovery Associate to join our team at Persona Staff (Pty) Ltd.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced credit management professional to take their career to the next level. As a Debt Recovery Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate capture, reconciliation, and resolution of debtors' accounts.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers. A strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, including double-entry accounting, is essential for this role.

In addition to your technical skills, we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Capture and reconcile bank accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Capture and reconcile debtors discounts to prevent losses
  • Capture and reconcile sales reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
  • Serve as a liaison between IT and other departments to resolve technical issues
  • Support sales representatives with credit card and fleet card reconciliations
  • Liaise with sales teams to ensure seamless collaboration

You will also be responsible for performing various ad-hoc duties as required by the team leader.

Requirements
  • 4 years' experience in a similar credit management role
  • Pastel experience is a must
  • Excellent computer literacy and Excel skills
  • Bilingual in Afrikaans and English
  • Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Accounting, Finance)

A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are also required for occasional travel to meet clients.
