Debt Recovery Specialist

Job Description:
Creditors Clerk (Salary: R220,000 - R280,000 per annum)

Persona Staff is seeking a highly skilled Debt Recovery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for capturing and reconciling bank accounts, debtors discounts, and sales reconciliations.

Responsibilities:
• Capturing and reconciliation of bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Reconciling debtors discounts and sales reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
• Serving as the IT management liaison, communicating with the sales teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Supporting sales representatives with credit card reconciliation and fleet card reconciliation, providing expert guidance and assistance.
• Liaising with the sales teams to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
• Performing general ad-hoc duties as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Pastel experience is essential, with a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role.
• Computer literacy is crucial, with proficiency in Excel and other relevant software applications.
• A relevant qualification (Certificate or Diploma) is required, with a strong focus on accounting principles and practices.
• Bilingualism in Afrikaans and English is highly desirable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A matric certificate is a minimum requirement, with a strong emphasis on numerical aptitude and analytical thinking.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and reliability are essential, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Own reliable transportation is necessary, with the flexibility to travel to different locations as required.
