Job Description

Profile Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of daily tasks, managing inventory, overseeing staff schedules, and handling customer inquiries or complaints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Support
    • Assist with the daily operations of the team, including managing inventory and overseeing staff schedules.
    • Address operational issues and resolve conflicts that arise within the team or with customers.
  • Team Management
    • Help manage and train staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
    • Assist in setting goals for team members, provide feedback, and support their development through coaching and mentoring.
  • Administrative Duties
    • Maintain records of sales, inventory, and other relevant metrics.
    • Assist in preparing reports for the Manager or higher-ups.
  • Customer Service
    • Engage with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction and address any issues that may arise.
    • Gather customer feedback to help improve service and operations.
  • Strategic Support
    • Assist in implementing business strategies and initiatives developed by upper management.
    • Take on specific projects or tasks as directed by the Manager to support organizational goals.
Requirements
  • Leadership and Communication
    • Ability to motivate and guide a team, often stepping in as a leader in the Manager's absence.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving
    • Ability to analyse situations, identify problems, and implement solutions effectively.
  • Organizational Skills
    • Capable of juggling multiple tasks and prioritizing responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.
    • Focused on maintaining high standards and accuracy in all aspects of the role.

Must have supervisory experience – not a junior role
